Salvation Today
Go up on a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news. Raise your voice loudly, O Jerusalem, herald of good news. Lift it up, do not be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Here is your God!” Isaiah 40:9
As a verb, heralding is defined as a sign that something is about to happen.
Since salvation is an ongoing, daily occurrence- today, something IS about to happen! Today is a timeless word, and the gospel for today is in us, every day. For those who are ready to receive the introduction to the One who was sent, today, they are about to be awakened and their lives are about to be transformed in ways they never imagined as they embark on a journey they never knew existed. For those who are walking in relationship with the Father, salvation today, and every day, is also an awakening and an opportunity to see another facet of Yahweh God and hear a frequency and sound they never have before, to uncover mysteries within our God. If one does not yet know the Father intimately, they will. If one intimately knows Him, they will know Him deeper.
Today, raise your voice…. and do so every day! Begin the journey and continue daily. Stand in the ascended place, do not hide or shrink from declaring, “Here is YOUR God!” Speak of it in the cities, and fields, and tell of it at the gates. Let us lift our voices and tell of His goodness and faithfulness at every opportunity; over coffee with a friend, the lunch table in the break room, or while you’re working out. Let us share the today gospel within us, unashamed. We are charged with a glorious responsibility, from the young to the old, from the new believer to the one who has lived a life full of bringing glory and honor to the one true God. The power of the God we serve is flowing within you and me…. today and every day!
