Living, Moving, and Being

"For it is in closest union with Him that we live and move and have our being; as in fact some of the poets in repute among yourselves have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'"Acts 17:28  Without question, The Rock of Central Florida is a house of life and movement! Anything living is changing, and because the Kingdom is ever increasing, movement is required to lay hold of what He has for us in an unknown space, often, by faith. Our very being and who we are is defined by Him, in Him, and through Him. Movement is necessary in the natural and by the spirit for growth in all areas and is an active tool to a life full of abundance, joy, and peace. It is all found in this oneness with Him.  I love this version of Acts 17:28 because it gives a beautiful image of the movement we are called to. In closest UNION with Him…. this is the intimate relationship made available to you and me with our heavenly Father. We were all given free will to do and live as we please, and He desires for us to do and live as He created us to be- in perfect alignment with His will moving to the frequency of heaven so that heaven can flow into the earth through us. It is our responsibility, not His, through our choices, actions, and movements, and how we live to be aligned and in tune with His heart. It is not a one time decision but rather a continual, daily choice. In this relationship with Him it is an ebb and flow of life-giving waters and we are defined and subsequently recognized as His sons in the earth. Our very being is in this joining with Him! It is who we are, and it is who we are called to be. When we live life and exist within His will, we are more than human beings, but rather Sons, moving according to His word, His plan, and His timing. It confounds the world because we become unmoved by circumstances and moved by His word as we are positioned in Christ. My encouragement today is this, let your life demonstrate relationship with the Father and that you live and abide in Him. Let your actions reflect a unity with Him that is pure, holy, and intimate because your movements are a reflection of His. Let your being and existence exemplify what it looks like to be a son because your trust is in the One who sent you. May we all be in closest union with Him.
