I Have Come To Serve
“But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”” Matthew 20:26-28 ESV
What does it look like to truly serve each other and the Father? If Yahshua himself came to serve, then what is our role as joint heirs with him? I believe there is a call to serve each other and Yahweh in a capacity yet to be seen. Sons never have to question their inheritance and can be secure in knowing everything that is the Father’s is also theirs. With this perspective, you can freely serve those around you cheerfully knowing that Yahweh sits on the throne of your heart. Who have you been called to serve? Begin to look away from selfish motives and desires because in Him all desires of your heart are met. I choose to be aware of where I am to serve and who I am to serve. I choose to become like Christ, the Son of Man, and lay down my life for the sake of my Father and all he wants to do! Will you join me?
