In Pursuit Of
“I am in pursuit of what I Am of….”
This is what filled my Spirit man while I listened to a podcast that was released in our house recently. The above statement is a declaration of recognition and acknowledgement that I am OF my heavenly Father and I am in pursuit of all that He is. Humanity- every man, woman, and child were sent into this earth to fulfill each assignment and task necessary in this day, to be His glory in this earth and to remember, recognize, demonstrate, and testify of the One we are of.
What does it mean to be “of” something? It encompasses belongingness! The word “of” can be used to express an origin, composition, substance, qualities, or attributes. Yahshua the Christ isan incredible example of this and the ultimate manifestation of being of our Father in the earth.
You and I are OF Yahweh God, the creator of the heavens and the earth. Within you and me is His substance, the qualities of the God we serve and attributes of the One we worship and glorify. We read about it in scriptures and hear the testimonies from faithful believers within the Kingdom. There is no question of who sent us or to whom we belong when we are in pursuit of Who we are of.
“Then whoever sees Me will see My Sender.” John 12:45
Let us remember Yahweh God has a great investment in us. Mankind is made His image, we are filled with His breath, His DNA is within us, we are His temple and dwelling place, and we are called His holy people and precious treasure. We are His and He is ours. May John 12:45 not just be words spoken by Christ while He walked this earth, but may they be words that describe us as we live our lives as ones following after Him and in pursuit of what we are of.
