It’s In the Air
Isaiah 61:3 “…….They will be called trees of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.”
Throughout our land the evidence of spring has arrived. Flowers fill our fields; fresh green leaves emerge from barren branches and the evidence of life surrounds us. Newness has come to uncover all that has been planted. Our God is one of relationship and intent. When considering the season of spring, his heart to renew and restore can be seen.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says,” Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things pass away, behold, all things become new.”
There is a necessary step that makes a way for renewal, and that is letting go. Releasing “what was”, to allow “what is” to fully manifest. Take the opportunity to consider your life today. Is there a need to let go of the old? Where are you positioned? Are your branches budding? Are there dreams in your heart? Yahweh has given the invitation for us to be fruitful, watered by his word. May our lives be marked with the abundance of heaven and an expression of righteousness, peace, joy. Be encouraged, spring is in the air!
