It’s Good to Draw Lines
“As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him…” Titus 3:10
Boundaries are a good thing. They don’t represent a lack of freedom nor do they hinder us from becoming who we are supposed to be. Sometimes in our lives, it becomes necessary to draw lines and establish boundaries. This doesn’t mean we shut the outside world out. It simply means we must take a stand when others insist and even embrace compromise.
Here’s the hard part. Sometimes we have to draw lines with family and friends and make sure we do not give up ground just because we are tired of fighting. Sometimes, hard choices have to be made. You don’t want to reach the end of your life and realize you conceded or compromised in areas where you knew Yahweh was telling you to remain firm. Stand strong! For yourself and for your seed! Yahweh sees you and will give you the strength to endure.
