Yahweh’s Timing

The Rock of Central Florida   -

I am moved by the final weekend of March. To understand what took place many, many years ago. Christ went into a tomb and resurrected on the third day. He did none of this for Himself, but rather for you and for me. He declared even Himself that He would rise on the third day.

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Luke 24:45-47

I want to bring your attention to the significance of the third day. First, it was Jewish belief (their traditions and customs) that after three days the body was truly dead. It could not be argued or insinuated that maybe He had not truly been dead. Next, it was to fulfill scripture and prophesy. In Christ’s life, and in His death, His resurrection, and ascension, He fulfilled every word of the Father. But, why three days? It wasn’t just a great idea, but full of purpose because all that the Father does is full of glorious intent if you are son who will seek.

The third letter of the living Hebrew language is Gimel. In the Hebrew language there are not “numbers” but rather each letter of the language represents a number and has a value. In this case, Gimel is the third letter and the value is also three. It represents the supply of heaven made available to you, it stands between heaven and earth, is a treasure, and is made available in alignment. It is in and through Him that we have access to all that He (Christ) has access to. Christ knew what was opening to the sons in the perfection of His three days within the tomb which is why He spoke, “Greater things will you do because I am going to the Father.”

It was more than Christ fulfilling scripture. The words spoken by prophets in the 1st Testament were put in their mouths by Yahweh Himself. Yahweh God decided from the beginning that Christ would be resurrected on the third day, the supply of heaven. Yahweh God, in the perfect intent of His design, in Olam, knew that two days would come short of the supply, and four days would overstep it. He was making it available to you and to me, and with the Father, every detail mattered.

It is more than what day He rose, but rather, what was the intent and purpose of Yahweh’s timing, and what is He wanting us to discover in it.
